On your "List of supportes systems, there's the line:

735/99 V 32 Kevin Carson successfully installed the 0.9.x ISOs.

I have a note here.
The 735/99 has two SCSI controllers, one HVD-SCSI controller and
a Single-ended narrow SCSI controller. The latter is supported,
teh former not.

There are (at least) two types of 725s out there: one with a disk
tray for HVD disks, one with a tray for the narrow-scsi disks. 

Thus, the 735s with HVD trays can only be installed as diskless
nodes, with external disks or must be equipped with a narrow SCSI
tray.
